Bioactive Laboratory Substrates for Medical Product Testing

Himed makes calcium phosphate discs in a variety of sizes for use as laboratory substrates. They have been used to grow cells, bacteria, and plaque for in vitro assays and to test anti-bacterial and anti-plaque agents. They can also be stained to test whitening agents and toothpaste dentifrices, or be used as sputtering targets.

Additionally, Himed can produce hydroxyapatite-coated glass slides at standard 1” x 3” dimensions.
